For a while now we've been dabbling with the idea of introducing lace to our printed wedding invitation and stationery designs - but we've never been truly happy with what we've created.
Today we have launched our new Kensington collection, a full suite of printed wedding stationery from Save the Dates, to Invitations, Reception Stationery and Thank You Cards, which uses gorgeous decorative lace as the key theme.
As with some of our other printed designs we've used a subtle burlap-effect background, which gives the impression of a textured finish and a more interesting final design. We've used a new font pairing, with a brush-style typeface used for highlights - names and announcements - alongside a modern, capitalised font for information.
And all of these elements are framed by beautiful printed lace borders and decals.
This is one of the aspects that we love about the new Kensington collection the most; no matter what colours we threw at the designs, they looked great. So when creating pictures, we wanted to show off as many combinations as possible.
With the limitless colour combinations available, the design can blend in with any wedding colour scheme. And with lace being such a traditional aspect of most weddings, we think it will blend in beautifully!
Currently Elle Bee is booked up for the majority of 2017 for handmade wedding invitation and stationery orders - and this is why we created our printed designs, we want our couples to have options when we get busy as opposed to turning people away.
From the point of the initial order, through proofing, printing, quality checking and delivery, the total turnaround time is often around the two week mark - so if you realise (and some do!) that you haven't got a table plan or place cards and the big day is approaching, we can make sure you're not going without.
Kensington is now live in the store, ready to be customised, proofed and printed to your requirements! Click the button below to see all of the items in the range and check back with us soon as we have some more ideas in the pipeline that are nearly ready for launch...
