This year has been an absolutely crazy one for us and, slowly but surely, things are settling down a touch as we move into the winter months.

In a couple of weeks' time we'll be in our last day of exhibiting at The National Wedding Show in Birmingham. However, shortly after, and very excitingly, we'll finally be getting a studio refit!

For those that don't know, Elle Bee Design is an entirely home-run business and we've been bashing our heads against our space for quite a while, especially as things get busier.

So the decision for us was either to up sticks and put the business in a unit, or do some work at home to make it more efficient. We chose the latter to create a lovely working space, as in the coming months we'll become a full-time twosome with Ian departing the corporate world for good to work on Elle Bee only.

Starting on the 15th of November, It'll take three weeks to gut the current space, remove walls, change flooring, install desks and cabinets, and alike. We have a plan in place (we think!) for how we can continue to operate during this period but, understandably, we won't be able to work quite as quickly as we usually do.

With this redevelopment in mind we will be prioritising day stationery orders where we are already aware of the wedding date, to make sure nothing slips. If you have a requirement in and around the end of October to the middle of November, or are currently in proofing with us, we would recommend contacting us as soon as possible so we can complete your order(s) on time.
