Firstly, Ian and I would like to thank each and everyone of our clients for their lovely comments in relation to our Change the Date offer. We have had many take us up on it, and it has been the least we could do to try and help out.
However, Ian and I have written this blog post just to highlight the options we are offer for everyone, not just our past and current couples. We truly hope the below options help, even if in some small way.
Past and Current Couples
To all our couples who have had invitations from us, or are in the very last stages of sending them out, we are offering you the following options;
- A FREE "Change the Date" .PDF in the same collection to match your invitations, that you can email, text, Facebook or Messenger to your guests that explains the date has been changed.
- A 45% reduction in our Save the Date template, which is what we are using for the "Change the date" cards. These are now priced at £0.50p each instead of £1.10 if physical "Change the Date" copies are required. They can be found here.
- 15% discount on any invitation orders that need to be placed in light of your wedding being cancelled and moved. We understand that sadly, with a date change a lot of other information may change as well and therefore a new set of invitations may be needed.
New Clients
To any couple who has never used our services before and requires some help informing guests of a wedding date change we are offering the following:
- A digital "Change the Date" .PDF in our Chelsea collection that you can email, text, Facebook or Messenger to your guests that explains the date has been changed. Elle Bee has always been a physical production company, however we are relaxing our rules and allowing a digital version to be purchased for £10. You can find it here.

Possible Implications
As many know Elle Bee is a relatively self-contained business. We print everything bar our larger signage in house, which means we rely a lot on suppliers. During these difficult times all our suppliers are currently open, BUT are on very reduced staff levels. This means there may be a delay in orders being printed and shipped whilst we are at the mercy of our supplier deliveries.
With recent Government hints that a country-wide lock down may be on the cards, all deliveries and online purchases to our suppliers will cease. This means that aside from the stock we have in reserve in our studio, we may find that invitation and stationery orders will be delayed due to no postal service and no stock. We ask you all to please bear with us if this occurs. We understand this will be incredible upsetting for clients but if we physically cannot produce your items there will be nothing we can do. We have taken every precaution and measure we can to ensure we are able to keep working if lock-down does occur, but if the worst happens all we ask is for your understanding.
We know that in the grand scheme of things these offerings may not be much but we really do hope they help ease the worry a little with regards to informing your guests of any changes and that we will endeavour to continue sending out orders until we are told otherwise.
